You don't have to leave the kids home on outdoor adventures. Using a professional outfitter helps when they are young since you then have someone to cook and do a lot of the camp work while you play. For example, we have used Escape Adventures for mountain biking, Exum Mountain Guides for rock climbing and ARTA for river trips.
